Dr. DeWinter graduated in 1990 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI.
Dr. DeWinter moved to Muskego in 1994 continuing the practice of Dr. Glenn Riess. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Wisconsin Optometric Association. He has had the opportunity to serve on the Wisconsin Optometric Association Board for several years and served as its president in 2002. Dr. DeWinter is a proud member of the Muskego Chamber of Commerce and is very active in his community and in his church. Dr. DeWinter volunteers his time at Walkers Point Community Center, which provides eye care for the underserved people of Milwaukee. He is an independent optometrist and wants to specialize in your eye health, your family’s eye health and everyone’s visual needs.
Dr. DeWinter is married and has two sons. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors.
